Restaurants to Bring More Than 300 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Area, Donate $75,000 to Local Food Banks

DETROIT (July 19, 2022) – Three new Chick-fil-A® restaurants will open across the Detroit market in the fall of 2022. Located in the Detroit suburbs of Southfield, Monroe and Livonia, these new restaurants will join 10 other Chick-fil-A locations currently serving the greater Detroit area.

Each restaurant will be owned by an independent Chick-fil-A Operator who resides in the local area. Chick-fil-A Operators are devoted members of their community and have the flexibility to make decisions about how to best serve their unique neighborhoods. They frequently support local communities through Spirit Night fundraisers, charitable donations and other involvement with causes that matter to their community and guests. In honor of the three new restaurant openings, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 on behalf of each new restaurant to Feeding America – totaling $75,000 that will be directed to support local Detroit food banks in the fight against hunger.

These new restaurants will add approximately 300 jobs to the Detroit area. Chick-fil-A restaurant Team Members enjoy flexible work hours and leadership growth opportunities, competitive wages and benefits, hands-on training and mentoring, and the chance to apply for scholarships to support their continuing education.

Chick-fil-A began proudly serving the Detroit area in October 2016 at Somerset Collection North and looks forward to continuing to expand its presence in the Motor City market. With a strong local commuter population as well as prime location on the interstates for travelers passing through, the Detroit market offers Chick-fil-A the opportunity to introduce its quality food to more Midwestern customers within the Detroit suburbs and beyond.

Looking ahead, Chick-fil-A, Inc. hopes to open five additional new restaurants in the greater Detroit area over the next few years.

Chick-fil-A is excited to serve new and existing guests delicious food with remarkable hospitality at these three new locations later this year. Until then, visit chick-fil-a.com for more information about Chick-fil-A and stories about the Brand’s food, people and customers across the country.
