Restaurant to Bring Approximately 150 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Irondequoit will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Irondequoit and the greater Rochester area with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Rochester area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A Irondequoit is locally owned and operated by Rochester native Bill Kaser. Kaser graduated from Cornell University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations and received a Master of Science in Finance from University of Rochester in 2014. After a 15-year career with Xerox, he set his sights on owning a business and making an impact in the community he grew up in by becoming a Chick-fil-A restaurant Operator. He was thrilled when he received the news earlier this year that he had been chosen as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Irondequoit, just five miles from where he was born and raised.
Kaser is involved within the greater Rochester community, specifically supporting local youth initiatives as a founding member and former chairman of the board of the Colin F. Kennedy Foundation and having served on the board of Quad A for Kids.
Alongside his wife, Lindsay, and their three children, Kaser is excited to open Chick-fil-A Irondequoit and serve his community with great food and genuine hospitality.
“I am humbled by the opportunity to make a difference in the community I grew up in and I look forward to bringing new job opportunities to Irondequoit,” said Kaser. “My goal is to develop leaders and provide opportunities to my Team Members and the people of Irondequoit as a whole.”
