Restaurant to Bring Approximately 120 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community

In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Lee’s Hill will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Fredericksburg with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Fredericksburg area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A Lee’s Hill is locally owned and operated by Paul Jany. Chick-fil-A has been influential in Jany’s life since he first sampled the chicken in his hometown shopping mall in Pennsylvania. After graduating college and marrying his wife, Judi, a former Chick-fil-A Team Member, Jany was captivated by an article about Truett Cathy’s heart for orphans, ultimately inspiring Jany’s pursuit to become an Operator and adopt three children.
In 2005, Jany and his family moved to Fredericksburg for him to become the Operator of Chick-fil-A Southpoint, where two of his children work and which he will continue to operate in addition to Chick-fil-A Lee’s Hill.
“I’ve been honored to serve the Fredericksburg community for more than 15 years as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Southpoint,” said Jany. “With the opening of this new restaurant, I look forward to empowering my team by teaching them about leadership and teamwork, while serving new and returning guests great-tasting food with genuine hospitality.”
