If you’re in downtown Manhattan this holiday season, between the busy streets of SoHo there is a way to stop and take a break to simply enjoy time with the ones you’re with. It’s called The Time Shop. Visited by New Yorkers and tourists alike, it’s a place where one message resounds: time spent with loved ones is a precious gift.
What’s even better than watching the fireworks on the Fourth of July? Enjoying your favorite Chick-fil-A menu item while watching the show! And we have good news: Chick-fil-A restaurants are open on July 4th, for limited hours (hey, we like fireworks shows too!).
In one week, Manhattan’s newest Chick-fil-A restaurant will open three blocks south of Columbus Circle at 918 8th Avenue, between West 55th and West 54th Streets. At more than 5,000 square feet, the restaurant offers a dynamic dining experience with seating for 94 guests, including booths and community tables. Like Chick-fil-A’s other NYC locations, 918 8th Avenue will feature innovative ordering technology to facilitate speed and efficiency, and an open restaurant design featuring high ceilings and expansive windows to capture daylight.
In 1967, Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy saw a need: people working and shopping in a new retail concept - the shopping mall - had nowhere to eat. Nowhere for salespeople and customers to take a break and refuel before going back to work or continuing their errands.
