Matthew Baals
Meet our Owner/Operator, Matthew Baals and his family! Matthew is a local, and grew up down the shore at LBI and now loves to share all his favorite spots with his wife, Brenda and his two daughters. He is excited to be in the Manahawkin community and to work alongside with his team to provide their guests a remarkable experience.
Matt has a business and entrepreneurial background and founded and owned a real estate investment group specializing in residential sales, residential and commercial investment portfolios and rehabs. He has a degree in Business Administration and grew a successful business and team by applying strategic efforts year after year. In addition to his background in business, he also has a heart for people and serving others. He has a Master’s degree in Counseling and served as a School Counselor serving elementary students here in South Jersey. He is involved in his community and church and spent 12 years volunteering with his local fire department as a firefighter/EMT. Matt has a heart for the community and loves to develop and train others in servant leadership, entrepreneurship, hospitality and caring for others. His passion for the restaurant is for it to be a greater means for him to Care, Inspire and Impact our community.
Growing up with 3 brothers, it was the dinner table where everyone came together and connected about their day, shared what they were excited about and discussed what was upcoming as a family. We know the typical family schedule and just how challenging it can be to have that time available together, but we would certainly love to help! We can do that by making sure that while you are with us in our dining room, curbside takeout or going through our Drive Thru that you know you are getting ReMarkable food from a place that values and appreciates you as a guest.
