What is the difference between a Chick-fil-A™ Gift Card and a Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card?
A Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card is an electronic or virtual gift card sent by email, as opposed to a Chick-fil-A™ Gift Card, which is a traditional physical (plastic or paper) gift card. Both cards can be transferred to your Chick-fil-A® App for redemption or redeemed directly at any participating Chick-fil-A location.
Where can I purchase a Chick-fil-A™ Gift Card or a Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card?
Chick-fil-A™ Gift Cards are available for purchase in any amount between $5 and $100 at participating Chick-fil-A® restaurant locations. Find your nearest restaurant by clicking here. Gift Cards may also be purchased at many of the places you shop every day, like grocery stores, pharmacies and other large retailers.

Note: Most Chick-fil-A Express™ and licensed Chick-fil-A locations, such as music venues, baseball stadiums, airports or universities, do not sell or accept gift cards with some exceptions, as listed:

- Misericordia University, Dallas, PA
- Mohegan Sun, Uncasville, CT
Chick-fil-A is not affiliated with any websites buying or selling gift cards for Chick-fil-A at a discounted price. The sale of gift cards for Chick-fil-A online by third-party websites (other than websites operated by approved retailers) is prohibited, and cards purchased through non-approved online third-party sellers may not be honored by Chick-fil-A restaurants.
Is my gift card reusable/reloadable?
You may add money to an existing physical Chick-fil-A™ Gift Card purchased from a Chick-fil-A restaurant at any time by visiting such location. You may also purchase additional gift card funds directly in the Chick-fil-A App.
eGift Cards, and Gift Cards purchased from authorized third-party retailers, are not reloadable.
Do gift cards expire or carry fees?
No. Chick-fil-A™ Gift Cards and Chick-fil-A™ eGift Cards do not have an expiration date or carry fees.
How do I use my Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card?
Once you have received the email, you can view your eGift Card by clicking the “View your eGift Card now” button.
To redeem your eGift Card for the purchase of food, beverages, or merchandise:
- Present the QR code shown on your eGift Card at any participating Chick-fil-A® restaurant.
- Transfer your eGift Card to the Chick-fil-A® App. If you are viewing your eGift card on a mobile device, click the button to “Transfer Funds to your Chick-fil-A App”. Present the “Scan” page of your App at any participating Chick-fil-A restaurant or use the funds when you place a mobile order with the App.
- Print the eGift Card email (including the QR code) and present at any participating Chick-fil-A restaurant.
How do I transfer a Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card to my Chick-fil-A® App?
Open your email and click the “View your eGift card now” button.
If viewing on a mobile device:
- Click the button “Transfer funds to your Chick-fil-A® App”.
- Download the Chick-fil-A App or follow the instructions to continue adding your gift card balance to the App.
At any time you can manually enter the eGift Card into your Chick-fil-A App.
- Open the Chick-fil-A App
- Select “Scan” at the bottom of the home screen
- Click the “Add Funds” button below the QR code
- Select the option to “Transfer a gift card” at the bottom of the screen
- Enter the gift card number and PIN
How do I replace a damaged, lost, stolen or non-activated Chick-fil-A™ Gift Card?
To determine if your lost, stolen or non-activated Chick-fil-A™ Gift Card can be replaced, you will need the sales receipt and/or activation receipt (copies or pictures are acceptable). Download this printable Chick-fil-A Gift Card Replacement Form, then mail or email the completed document to the address provided on the form. Your request will be reviewed for eligibility, and you will be contacted if additional information is needed. Please allow 6-12 weeks for a response.
I lost my Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card print out. How do I request a replacement?
If you misplaced your Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card print out, click on the link in the original email to access it. If you no longer have the original email, please contact the purchaser of the eGift Card and have them resend it to you from the site linked here.
Are gift cards refundable?
Chick-fil-A™ Gift Cards and Chick-fil-A™ eGift Cards are non-refundable; all sales of gift cards are final. Gift cards are also not redeemable for cash, except as required by applicable law due to compliance with federal and state laws regulating the issuance and sale of gift cards, and then only to the extent required by applicable law. Can I get cash back from my Chick-fil-A™ Gift Card or Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card?
Chick-fil-A™ Gift Cards and Chick-fil-A™ eGift Cards are not redeemable for cash except as required by applicable law due to compliance with federal and state laws regulating the issuance and sale of gift cards, and then only to the extent required by applicable law. You are eligible to obtain cash back if the last redemption transaction on your gift card occurred at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in a state requiring cash back on remaining small gift card balances and the remaining balance on your card meets the state’s requirement. If you qualify for cash back, you can request it at the restaurant following the redemption or at another at participating Chick-fil-A restaurant in that state, or you may print the Chick-fil-A Gift Card Cash Back Form and mail the completed form and your gift card to the address on the form.
Are there discounts on bulk purchases of Chick-fil-A™ Gift Cards?
Unfortunately, Chick-fil-A does not provide discounts on bulk purchases for physical Chick-fil-A™ Gift Cards. To place a bulk order for Chick-fil-A physical gift cards for your business or other organization, please complete the Bulk Order Registration Form. Multiple cards can also be purchased in any amount between $5.00 and $100.00 at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants. We reserve the right to limit the number of gift cards that a single person can purchase in a single day.
Can I change the value of my Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card purchase or cancel the transaction?
We're sorry but all gift card transactions are final. If you want to increase the Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card value, then a new transaction and separate eGift Card purchase will be required.
Can I send myself Chick-fil-A™ eGift Cards to give to others?
We suggest sending the Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card directly to the intended end recipient by email.
If you cannot send directly to someone, use the “This is for me” section on the recipient information page. Once you receive the eGift Card via email, you can forward it to others or print out the eGift Card and share it. However, we are not responsible for unauthorized use of your eGift Card.
How will the recipient know that I sent them a Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card?
The recipient of the Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card will receive an email indicating that an eGift Card has been sent to them.
How will I know that the recipient opened their Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card?
You will receive an email notification when the recipient opens the email containing their Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card. You can also track the status of the eGift Card by entering your confirmation number and email address here.
How long does it take for a Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card to reach the recipient?
All Chick-fil-A™ eGift Cards purchased are subject to credit card and security processing. This typically occurs within 20 minutes; however, it could take up to 24 hours. If eGift Cards are not received within 24 hours, please contact our Gift Card Customer Support at chickfila@wgiftcard.com or (800) 669-0033.
I recently purchased and sent a Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card but it has not arrived. What should I do?
Occasionally emails containing eGift Cards are stopped by spam filters. Please ask the recipient to check their spam or junk folders. It is also possible that the email address was incorrectly entered at the time of purchase; please confirm the email address entered at checkout was correct.
You can resend the gift card by entering the email address and confirmation number associated with the gift card here, then select the "Track" button. Once the gift card appears, select the "Send" button. Enter the appropriate email address and select "Submit." The gift card has now been resent to the intended recipient.
My Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card does not have a QR code on it. Why not?
A QR code is included on every Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card and used for redemption at Chick-fil-A® restaurants. If you do not see a QR code, open the email where you received the eGift Card and select the button to “View your eGift card now”. This will open the eGift Card and show a QR code.
For additional support, ensure your device’s photo blocker is turned off. If you are still experiencing issues viewing a QR code, have the Purchaser regenerate your email using the Tracker or contact Gift Card Customer Support (800) 669-0033 or chickfila@wgiftcard.com for assistance.
My credit card was declined when purchasing a Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card online and I don’t know why.

Can I schedule a Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card to be delivered at a future date and time?
Chick-fil-A™ eGift Cards can be delivered immediately (subject to credit card and security processing time) or at any time within the next 30 days.
I sent my Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card to the wrong email address. Can I send it to a different email address?
To resend your Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card, enter your email address and confirmation number, then select the "Track" button here. Once the gift card appears, select the "Send" button. Enter the appropriate email address and select "Submit." The gift card has now been resent.
Note, eGift Cards that have already been viewed but were sent to the wrong email address cannot be resent to the intended recipient. In such instances, the eGift Card purchase will be refunded and a new eGift Card will need to be purchased.
I didn't want to send a Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card, I wanted to send a plastic one. How can I send a physical Chick-fil-A™ Gift Card instead?
Unfortunately, gift cards are non-refundable. If a balance remains on the Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card, you can request to transfer the balance to a physical Chick-fil-A™ Gift Card by downloading this printable Chick-fil-A Gift Card Replacement Form, then mail or email the completed document to the address provided on the form.

First, check to see if the Chick-fil-A™ eGift Card is still in your email’s Deleted folder. The purchaser of the eGift Card has the ability to resend your eGift Card using their confirmation number and email address. Please contact the purchaser to resend the eGift Card. If you purchased the eGift Card, you can enter the order details and resend the eGift Card using this link.
