See three ways we’re aiding those impacted by the California wildfires and how you can join us
As devastating wildfires have swept across the Los Angeles area this month, Chick-fil-A, Inc., local Owner-Operators, and Guests care for impacted communities in many ways. Here’s how we’re helping and how you can, too.
- Teaming up to support the American Red Cross. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has partnered with the American Red Cross to collect donations, pledging to match each dollar donated via this link or through the Chick-fil-A® App up to $500,000. It’s an easy way we can come together to show our neighbors in L.A. just how much we care.
- Food donations for first responders. Chick-fil-A, Inc. is helping cover costs for feeding events in areas affected by the wildfires, supporting the efforts of many local Owner-Operators who are providing meals to first responders, like fire fighters, police officers, and medical personnel, as well as displaced neighbors.
- Caring for Restaurant Team Members. The Chick-fil-A Together Fund, an emergency assistance grant program, is providing support to Team Members who’ve been displaced and have applied for financial assistance. Owner-Operators, Chick-fil-A Staff and other members of the Chick-fil-A community have already made donations, and more than 70 applicants impacted by the wildfires have received grants through the emergency assistance fund.
We are deeply grateful to the local Owner-Operators, Team Members, Staff, and Guests who have quickly mobilized to provide support, made financial contributions to the American Red Cross and Chick-fil-A Together Fund, and more to help those in need in California during this time of crisis.
You can contribute and have your donation matched through this link or in the For You section of the Chick-fil-A App.
