Restaurant time helped Jalon Walker learn lessons in team building
Jalon Walker, a professional football player and University of Georgia alum, shares how lessons he learned as a Chick-fil-A Team Member in Salisbury, North Carolina, helped him get to where he is today.
He sought a job where he could also balance his time in the classroom and on the field. As a multi-sport high school athlete, Jalon often had practice and needed a job that offered flexibility.
His dad, a local football coach, had a connection to Chick-fil-A Towne Creek Commons Owner-Operator Bo Hawkins, leading Jalon to think about a role with the restaurant.
Watch the video above to learn how Jalon’s time in the restaurant helped on his journey to being a good teammate, on and off the field.
