Cherry Berry Biscuit Jelly

time: > 1 HOUR
difficulty: Advanced
serves: 8-10
A glass bowl of red jelly next to a biscuit and a butter knife on a white surface.
  1. Clean and sanitize each Mason jar in dishwasher or by boiling jars and lids for 10 minutes.
  2. In a deep stock pot, fill ¾ with water. Cover and place on high heat, bring to a rapid boil.
  3. While your water is heating up, pour your Cherry Berry Sprite beverage into a separate large pot with the sugar. Place over medium-high heat, stirring constantly to dissolve all the sugar. Once the mixture comes to a boil, cook for 1 minute. Add all the liquid pectin, stirring constantly. Boil jelly hard for an additional minute. Remove from heat.
  4. Gather your sanitized jars and carefully pour your hot jelly mixture into each one, leaving ¼” headspace at the top. Dip a paper towel in the white vinegar and gently wipe the rim of the jars. Place lids on jars, lightly screw on the rings until finger tight.
  5. Once your water is rapidly boiling, carefully lower each jar into the pot using canning tongs or silicone tongs. Ensure the water in the pot is about ~1” over the top of all 8 jars, add more water if needed. Boil on high heat for 6 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove each jar using tongs and let sit on a cooling rack, do not screw ring lids any tighter. The jar seals should begin to pop as the jelly cools. Once at room temperature, check to see all jar seals have popped.
If any seals did not take, no worries! Just keep these jars in the fridge and enjoy within 7 days.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours to set jelly. Add labels, share with friends, and enjoy! The jelly is great on a hot Chick-fil-A®biscuit, some buttered toast, or even a PB&J Sandwich!
If sealed properly, jelly will last up to 1 year refrigerated.
