How does Chick-fil-A fight hunger?
At Chick-fil-A, we are committed to fighting hunger and addressing food insecurity throughout the communities we serve. For example, every time a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opens its doors, Chick-fil-A, Inc. typically donates $25,000 to Second Harvest Canada or Feeding America® in the U.S.
Many Operators also donate surplus food from their restaurants to local nonprofits to help feed those in need through the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program. To further reinforce Chick-fil-A’s commitment to caring for others through food, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $1 million this October to multiple nonprofits to address food insecurity and hunger throughout the U.S. and Canada. The company will give $100,000 each to seven of its leading Chick-fil-A Shared Table partners in recognition of their impact, as well $150,000 to Feeding America and $150,000 to Second Harvest in Canada
These efforts support our corporate social responsibility goal to provide 200 million meals to our communities by 2025.
