Is Chick-fil-A family-owned?

Chick-fil-A, Inc. is a family-owned business, founded by S. Truett Cathy. Today, Truett’s children—Dan T. Cathy, Donald (Bubba) M. Cathy and Trudy Cathy White—serve as Chairman, Executive Vice President and President, Dwarf House, and Ambassador, respectively. Andrew Cathy, Truett’s grandson, serves as CEO. Just as Truett built Chick-fil-A alongside his wife and children, several more second and third generation Cathy family members are carrying on that tradition, while others pursue talents in other fields. Working in a variety of different capacities, they’re coast-to-coast helping people “Eat Mor Chikin^®.”
