Meet Restaurant Operator
Charlie Fish
After moving here from Bronx, New York following Dad's USAF Retirement, I have been involved in the East Orlando community for over 40 years, including University High School (Class of '92), Valencia College (Class of '94), UCF (Class of '96), FHSAA Baseball Umpiring, High School football and baseball coach at The Master's Academy, Little League baseball coaching and officiating, Central Florida Youth Football, and I worship at Action Church Oviedo. Just as Dad did in the U.S. Air Force, I love developing young people and making them incredible leaders in the community, while serving our guests in a special and dynamic way.
With my wife Liz, a retired Registered Nurse from Advent Health South, we love operating the restaurant in Oviedo and at University at Rouse near UCF, while also leading the two Chick-fil-A Licensed locations on UCF's campus. Our three children have all worked in our restaurants. Our oldest is a Firefighter/Paramedic for Orange County, our middle is an elementary teacher in Longwood, and our youngest is a UCF student. My older brother was an Oviedo Police Officer in the 1980's (now a history professor in South Carolina), and my younger brother is also a Chick-fil-A Operator in the Orlando market.
I have served Chick-fil-A since 1989 starting as a team member at Chick-fil-A of Orlando Fashion Square. Under Operator Henry Dixon, I served his guests for 8 years growing up through his leadership team. I went to work for Chick-fil-A's Support Center in 1996 following my graduation at UCF (Marketing), and served the Support Center for a little over a year. I became a Chick-fil-A Operator in 1997, opening a Chick-fil-A near UCF at University Blvd & Rouse Road, operating it from 1997-2018, then opening the Oviedo restaurant in 2018, and returning to also Operate University at Rouse in 2025.
It is my sincere pleasure to serve the amazing people of East Orlando & in Oviedo. Liz and I are blessed to serve so many wonderful guests & team members.
