Meet Restaurant Operator
Nick Jones
I grew up in Stockbridge, Georgia, and moved to Forsyth to open Chick-fil-A Forsyth [GA] in July 2024. I started with Chick-fil-A at the Stockbridge Chick-fil-A Dwarf House as a Team Member, breading chicken in 1997.
I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management in 2004. I completed my Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University in May 2023.
I also participated in the Army ROTC and the simultaneous membership programs through the Georgia Army National Guard. I was commissioned as an Armor Officer through the University of Georgia ROTC Bulldog Battalion in 2004. I was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) in October 2023 and am currently a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. I served in two combat deployments: in 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and 2009 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom while based in Kunduz, Afghanistan. My awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, and the Combat Action Badge, among other awards.
From May 2013 till June 2024, I had the privilege of opening, owning, and operating Chick-fil-A Vicksburg in Vicksburg, Mississippi. During this time, I actively served the community in various capacities, including as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Vicksburg Warren Economic Development Foundation, Chairman of the Vicksburg Warren County Chamber of Commerce in 2017, and as a member of the Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Kings Empowerment Center. I also took on the role of Scout Committee Chairperson for Cub Scout Pack 221, a position that allowed me to further contribute to the community.
I have been married to Bridget since February 2005. We have 3 children: Noah and Brady, and a daughter, Lana.
