Jay Early
Jay is a 1993 graduate of the University of Houston’s Business School with a Bachelor of Business Administrations with Finance Concentration, and a 2003 Graduate of the University of Houston at Victoria’s MBA Program. Jay’s business experience includes leading various operations departments including document storage, transaction process, telephone service, quality, and reporting / analytics. Jay spent time in medical imaging sales and IT Operations Leadership positions.
Jay’s military career began in 1987 with enlistment in the Texas Army National Guard as a 19D Cavalry Scout. Jay graduated basic and AIT from Fort Knox, KY, and eventually attended ITV Weapons School, was an instructor for Cavalry Scout Reclassification course, and attended the Army Basic Jump Course. Jay received his commission in 1993 in Armor and stayed with the Guard through 2010, holding various positions including Platoon Leader, Scout Platoon Leader, S2, Detachment Commander, Company Commander, Brigade Reconnaissance Commander, Squadron S3, TF Commander, and Brigade (Rear Detachment) XO. Jay deployed to OIF 04-06 in 2004-2005 earning a bronze star and Combat Action Badge. Jay retired after over 20 years of service in December 2010.
Jay joined Chick-fil-A in July 2010 and has been the Owner / Operator of the Killeen Chick-fil-A since opening in November 2010. As the Owner / Operator the store has shown strong sales and built a solid connection with the community.
Jay and his wife Robin have been married since 1995 and have 3 children: Grace, Jameson, and Breck.
