Meet Restaurant Operator
Joshua Johnson
Welcome! I was born in Tyler, Texas and grew up just a few minutes away from this restaurant. I met my wife Jill when we were teenagers working as team members at Chick-fil-A Broadway Square Mall in Tyler, Texas. I graduated from Winona High School and attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas where I received a Bachelor's of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering.
While attending Baylor University I decided to start working at Chick-fil-A Franklin Avenue as a team member to earn some additional money to pay for my living expenses. I found that I enjoyed Chick-fil-A much more than engineering and decided to focus on making a career as a franchise owner with Chick-fil-A.
I had the pleasure of being selected as a Chick-fil-A franchise owner at the age of 24. I was the franchise owner of Chick-fil-A South Park Mall in San Antonio, Texas for 2 years and then the franchise owner of Broadway Square Mall for 14 years before becoming the franchise owner of Chick-fil-A Lindale/North Tyler in January 2021. My wife and I, along with our 4 sons, love serving our team members and the Lindale, North Tyler, and surrounding communities.

Our Community
At Chick-fil-A Lindale/North Tyler we love serving our community and partnering with with schools and non-profit organizations that help to make our community better. Examples of organizations we actively support are the Lindale ISD Foundation, Lindale Rotary, Bethesda Health Clinic, Salvation Army, East Texas Food Bank, Promise Academy, United Way, Smith County Junior Livestock Show, and more. Our Franchise Owner also serves on local non-profit boards such as the Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Tyler, Discovery Science Place, and East Texas Youth Orchestra. We also love to partner with schools to help develop leaders that serve others utilizing our Chick-fil-A Leader Academy in local school districts like Lindale ISD, Winona ISD, and Mineola ISD.
