Thirteen Team Members receive $25,000 scholarships to pursue their educational goals
Every day in Chick-fil-A® restaurants, Team Members make an impact that goes far beyond serving great food. They lead with care, show hospitality and create meaningful moments for Guests and their communities.
Through the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures® Scholarships program, Chick-fil-A, Inc. invests in those Team Members by supporting their educational pursuits and encouraging them to continue making a difference in the world, wherever their futures lead.
In 2026, Chick-fil-A, Inc. awarded more than $29 million in scholarships to over 16,000 Team Members across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Since launching the scholarship initiative in 1973, Chick-fil-A has invested more than $245 million in helping Team Members pursue higher education.
Investing in Purpose-Driven Futures
The Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures® Scholarships program is designed to recognize Team Members who demonstrate leadership, academic achievement and commitment to serving others. Scholarships can be applied toward any area of study at accredited institutions and empower recipients to pursue paths ranging from business and healthcare to technology, education and skilled trades.
Each year, a select group of Team Members is awarded $25,000 scholarships. In 2026, Chick-fil-A, Inc. CEO Andrew T. Cathy surprised the 13 recipients, presenting the award in person and celebrating alongside their fellow Team Members, family and friends.
These recipients also have the opportunity to participate in a 12-month leadership development program, which includes mentoring and professional development opportunities alongside the Chick-fil-A™ Community Scholars.
Meet the 2026 Recipients
- Danna Avila – Sunnyvale, CA; Studying public health sciences at University of California, Berkeley with plans to attend medical school and pursue a career in oncology.
- Gustavo Almeida – Brookfield, CT; Driven by an interest in cars and hands-on experience working alongside his uncle, Gustavo plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
- Madison Cogan – Denver, N.C.; Plans to study computer science at North Carolina State University with aspirations of entering the cybersecurity field.
- Jose Davila – Harlingen, TX; Studying biology at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with plans to attend dental school.
- Reagan Hase – Mobile, AL; Preparing to attend the University of South Alabama to study marine science and wants to become a marine research scientist.
- Precious Luna – Fort Wayne, IN; A second-year student at Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast, pursuing a degree in psychology.
- Sarah Noble-Eggie – Columbus, GA; Earning her bachelor’s degree online from the University of Maryland Global Campus while balancing leadership responsibilities at her Restaurant. A young mother and military spouse, Sarah has remained committed to her education and plans to build a career rooted in hospitality and service.
- Carlos Rojas – Schaumburg, IL; A freshman at Northern Illinois University studying psychology with a focus on health administration to expand access to mental health services. This scholarship will allow Carlos to live on campus, eliminating his daily two-hour commute.
- Aaron Sosa – Ontario, CA; A student at Vanguard University of South California studying political science and history with aspirations of pursuing a legal career.

- Yamanni Tay – North Bergen, N.J.; Pursuing a nursing degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University with aspirations of becoming a nurse practitioner.
- Karina Uryasov – Mauldin, S.C.; Plans to major in biology to eventually attend medical school and become a trauma surgeon.
- Caleb Young – Bentonville, AR; Working toward a Bachelor of Science in nursing at NorthWest Arkansas Community College with the goal of becoming a certified nurse anesthetist.
