Restaurant Celebrates with Cows Eat Free Offer on Opening Day and $25,000 Donation to Address Food Insecurity
ALLIANCE, Ohio (Sept. 18, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Alliance community at its first location on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025 at 6:30 a.m., creating approximately 75 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Dan Brandenstein as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Alliance.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, Brandenstein and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 2381 W. State St., Chick-fil-A Alliance will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pick-up, catering, and Mobile Thru. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community, Chick-fil-A Alliance will also feature a play space to serve Guests with children.

“As someone who grew up in northeast Ohio, it’s an incredible honor to bring the first Chick-fil-A to Alliance,” said Brandenstein. “We aren’t just opening a restaurant, we are creating a space where everyone is treated with care—a place to gather, enjoy a delicious meal and feel a genuine sense of community.”
Born and raised in Canfield, Brandenstein first became interested in a career with Chick-fil-A after college, when he worked as a Team Member at a restaurant in Warren. There, he discovered a passion for hospitality and leadership and saw firsthand the impact he could make on Guests, Team Members and the broader community. Now, as a local Owner-Operator, Brandenstein is focused on creating that same kind of difference—leading with care, investing in his Team Members and serving the Alliance community with intentionality.

Brandenstein is committed to giving back to the Alliance community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant. Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank helps to reduce food insecurity across the Northeast Ohio region.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
