Restaurant celebrates with Cows Eat Free offer on opening day
MARIETTA, Ga. (Sept. 25, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Marietta community at its newest location on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025 at 6:00 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Sandeep Kapoor to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Barrett Parkway & Powder Springs Road, marking his second restaurant in the community.
To celebrate the opening, Kapoor and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 6652 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy SW, Chick-fil-A Barrett Parkway & Powder Springs Road will serve Guests Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., and 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The restaurant will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, catering and Mobile Thru. It will also feature a playground to serve Guests with children.
Locally Owned and Operated
“From the first day I became a Chick-fil-A Owner-Operator, my passion has always been investing in people and serving the community,” said Kapoor. “Opening a second restaurant in Marietta is an opportunity to continue that work — creating more jobs, developing more leaders and caring for the place my family and I call home.”
Kapoor became a local Owner-Operator in 2002, drawn to Chick-fil-A’s reputation and inspired by
S. Truett Cathy’s vision of servant leadership. For more than two decades, he has led restaurants with a focus on mentoring Team Members and creating an impact in the local communities he serves.
In 2017, Kapoor was selected to operate Chick-fil-A Macland Crossing, which he will continue to lead alongside Chick-fil-A Barrett Parkway & Powder Springs Road. To further enhance service and the Guest experience, the Macland Crossing location will be temporarily closed beginning Sept. 29, 2025 to rebuild the restaurant. It is scheduled to reopen in winter 2026, pending any delays.
Kapoor and his wife Valerie, who plays an active role in restaurant administration, are excited to continue building relationships, investing in Team Members and serving the West Cobb community.

Kapoor is committed to giving back to the West Cobb community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date. Kapoor has actively participated in this program as an Owner-Operator for more than 20 years across different restaurants he’s led.Creating approximately 100 jobs in the Marietta and Powder Springs community.
