Locally Owned and Operated
“The way Chick-fil-A cares for its communities is unique, and it inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a local Owner-Operator,” said Ernst. “As we open the doors of Chick-fil-A Brookside, our goal is to bring light into the community. I want our neighbors to know that in times of need, we’ll be there to step up and support – and in times of success, we’ll be there to celebrate alongside them.”
More About Ernst
- A native of Bristow, Oklahoma, just outside of Tulsa, Ernst has always had an entrepreneurial drive – from mowing lawns and cleaning horse stalls in high school to holding management roles in the hospitality industry.
- In 2019, he joined Chick-fil-A Bixby in a senior leadership role, where he gained firsthand insight into the brand’s intentional commitment to service and community. The experience deepened his passion for aligning business excellence with meaningful community impact, and he looks forward to contributing to a community that already feels like home.
Cows Eat Free to Celebrate Chick-fil-A Brookside
To celebrate the restaurant moo-ving into town, cows will eat free on opening day! Ernst and his team are inviting the community to show off their cow spots on opening day for one free entrée.
- Since 1995, the Cows have been a beloved part of Chick-fil-A, encouraging humans to skip burgers and “Eat More Chikin” – and now it’s Tulsa’s turn to join the herd.
- Guests dressed in cow print – whether it’s a full cow costume or a simple cow-spotted accessory – can enjoy one free entrée* in person inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Caring for the Tulsa Community
Ernst is committed to giving back to the Tulsa community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
