Restaurant Celebrates with Cows Eat Free Offer on Opening Day and $25,000 Donation to Address Food Insecurity
FORT SMITH, Ark. (Aug. 21, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Fort Smith community at its newest location on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, at 6 a.m., creating approximately 120 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Mitchell Kelley as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Century Drive, marking his second restaurant in the community.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, Kelley and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 3825 Century Drive, Chick-fil-A Century Drive will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, catering and Mobile Thru.

An Arkansas native, Kelley’s journey with Chick-fil-A began in Little Rock, where he served as a Team Member and quickly discovered his passion for cultivating meaningful relationships. After serving in various restaurants across 13 states, Kelley was named local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Rogers Avenue in 2023, which he will continue to operate alongside Chick-fil-A Century Drive.

Kelley is committed to giving back to the Fort Smith community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to River Valley Regional Food Bank in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Fort Smith area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
