New restaurant led by Douglasville native Jordan Phillips
DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (Sept. 10, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Douglasville community at its newest location on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, at 6 a.m., creating approximately 100 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Jordan Phillips as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Chapel Hill Road, marking his second restaurant in the community.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, Phillips and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal in the drive-thru and walk-up window.
Located at 9320 The Landing Drive, Chick-fil-A Chapel Hill Road will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering drive-thru, delivery, catering, and Mobile Thru. Designed for speed and efficiency, this drive thru-focused location offers added convenience to serve Guests through its drive-thru and a walk-up window for carry-out orders.

“From my first days as a Team Member to opening my second restaurant, Chick-fil-A has shaped my life in ways I could never have imagined,” said Phillips. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue serving this community — not just with delicious food and hospitality, but by investing in Team Members and creating a place where people feel cared for.”
Born and raised in Douglasville, Phillips’ Chick-fil-A journey began in high school as a Team Member at Chick-fil-A Arbor Place. After graduating from the University of West Georgia and working in the nonprofit sector, he returned to Chick-fil-A Arbor Place, under the mentorship of local
Owner-Operator Lauren McGuire. With her guidance, he pursued the Chick-fil-A® Leadership Development Program, where he and his family spent nearly two years supporting new restaurant openings across the country.
In 2019, Phillips’ story came full circle when he was selected to operate the Arbor Place Mall restaurant — the same location where his Chick-fil-A career first began. Now at Chick-fil-A Chapel Hill Road, Phillips aims to bring more both growth and gratitude – the chance to create more opportunities for Team Members and to continue investing in the community he has always called home.
Caring for the Douglasville Community
Phillips is committed to giving back to the Douglasville community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Atlanta area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
