Restaurant Celebrates with Cows Eat Free Offer on Opening Day
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (June 6, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Fort Wayne community at its newest location on Monday, June 9, 2025, creating approximately 120 jobs.
Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected PJ Strength to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Dupont Road.
To celebrate the restaurant, Strength and his team are inviting the community to show off their cow spots at the restaurant on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are encouraged to join the fun—dressed in cow attire—to redeem the one free entrée, either inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.*
Located at 4773 E Dupont Road, Chick-fil-A Dupont Road will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, mobile pick-up, mobile dine-in ordering, carry-out and third-party delivery from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the drive-thru remaining open until 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community, Chick-fil-A Dupont Road will also feature a playground to serve Guests with children.

“Early in my career, I realized Chick-fil-A wasn’t just about food, it was about creating spaces where people feel seen and valued,” said Strength. “Fort Wayne has become home for my family over the past three years, and I’m excited to continue building something meaningful here—both in how we serve our Guests and how we show up for our community.”
- Strength began his Chick-fil-A journey in 2011 working as a Team Member in Fayetteville, Georgia where he not only discovered a passion for hospitality—but also met his wife, Hannah.
- Over the years, he grew into leadership roles, eventually serving as Interim General Manager before joining the Chick-fil-A® Leadership Development Program in 2019, where he supported restaurant openings across the country. In 2022, Strength was selected as the local
Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Glenbrook Square.
- Now, Strength is excited to relocate and open his first free-standing restaurant, continuing his commitment to serving the Fort Wayne community through genuine care and hospitality.
Caring for the Fort Wayne Community
Strength is committed to giving back to the Fort Wayne community by:
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana.
- Recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Fort Wayne community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
