Restaurant Celebrates with Cows Eat Free Offer on Opening Day and $25,000 Donation to Address Food Insecurity
MESA, Ariz. (Aug. 21, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Mesa community at its newest location on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, at 6 a.m., creating approximately 100 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Joshua Lindsey as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Ellsworth & Warner, marking his second restaurant in the community.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, Lindsey and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 4512 S. Ellsworth, Chick-fil-A Ellsworth & Warner will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, catering and Mobile Thru.

“My journey to Chick-fil-A was inspired by an Operator who first believed in me. Outside of training me to understand the business aspect, he showcased what it means to put people first,” said Lindsey. “Many of our Team Members at Chick-fil-A Ellsworth & Warner are teenagers and are at a pivotal point in their lives. I’m honored for the opportunity to instill that value and support their future goals.”
Lindsey has been a proud resident of Mesa for 12 years, along with his wife Amber and their five children. He’s been the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Gilbert Gateway since 2013, which he will continue to operate alongside Chick-fil-A Ellsworth & Warner. With the opening of the new restaurant, Lindsey is excited to deepen his impact in the community, create more jobs and mentor the next generation of youth.

Lindsey is committed to giving back to the Mesa community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to United Food Bank in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Phoenix area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
