Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes With Free Chick-fil-A Meals for a Year

 

GREENVILLE, Miss. (Dec. 8, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A^® restaurant will begin serving the Greenville community on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Avery Miller as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Greenville [MS].  
 
Located at 1647 S. Martin Luther King Blvd., Chick-fil-A Greenville [MS]’s multi-lane drive-thru will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Curbside pick-up is also available through the Chick-fil-A^® App. Dine-in and carry-out will soon be available. Guests of Chick-fil-A Greenville can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the Chick-fil-A^® App. When joining the Chick-fil-A One^® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase which can be used to redeem available rewards.  
 
Chick-fil-A Greenville [MS] is the first Chick-fil-A restaurant to serve the Mississippi Delta region. 
 
Locally Owned and Operated 
As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators proudly reside in the areas in which they serve. 
 
In Greenville, Miller will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses. 
 
Miller’s first job as a teenager was at his local Chick-fil-A in the Atlanta area. It was there he had his first taste of Chick-fil-A and fell in love with the delicious food and the company’s culture of care. Miller went on to receive a Chick-fil-A scholarship and attend the University of Mississippi where he studied managerial finance. During his undergraduate years, Miller continued to work for a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Oxford, Miss. as a director. From there, he decided to join the company’s Leadership and Development Program, which gives future leaders the chance to learn alongside Chick-fil-A Operators around the U.S. and Canada.  

“As a fan of the company for almost two decades, I cannot wait to take the next step in my Chick-fil-A career and become an Operator,” said Miller. “I look forward to bringing Chick-fil-A to the Mississippi Delta region and cultivating a welcoming environment in my restaurant. It will be my goal to provide guests with a high-quality dining experience and my Team Members with valuable career opportunities. I want Chick-fil-A Greenville to be the best place to eat and work.” 
 
Caring for the Greenville Community 
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Greenville area to aid in the fight against hunger. 
 
Chick-fil-A Greenville [MS] is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Greenville community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.
