Restaurant donates $25,000 to Mid-Ohio Food Collective to address food insecurity
GROVEPORT, Ohio (Nov. 6, 2025) – Chick-fil-A® is continuing its commitment to care for the communities it serves with the opening of a new restaurant in Groveport on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025. To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. is donating $25,000 to Feeding America® to support local hunger relief, benefiting Mid-Ohio Food Collective in the Groveport area. In addition, the restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, partnering with Victory Ministries, a local food pantry dedicated to providing hope and resources, to redirect surplus food to neighbors in need.
Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Alex Franck to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Groveport. Located at 4015 S. Hamilton Road, the new restaurant will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, catering and mobile pick-up.

“From day one, my goal has been to build more than a restaurant,” said Franck. “We’re opening the first Chick-fil-A in a community where food insecurity is real, and if we can turn what might have been wasted food into something that helps a neighbor get access to a warm meal, that matters to me. My hope is that Chick-fil-A Groveport becomes a place that shows up for the community in meaningful ways, not just for the opening, but for a long time to come.”
Franck’s Chick-fil-A journey began when he was accepted into the Chick-fil-A® Leadership Development Program, motivated by a desire to learn how to run a business with both excellence and care. Through that experience, he discovered Chick-fil-A was about far more than entrepreneurship — it was a commitment to making a lasting positive impact beyond the restaurant’s walls. Now, as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Groveport, Franck is focused on building a restaurant that invests deeply in its people and plays a meaningful role in the community.
