Hudson Welcomes First Chick-fil-A Restaurant

Restaurant Brings Up to 100 Jobs to Community, Donates $25,000 to Address Food Insecurity

HUDSON, Mass. (May 29, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is ready to serve Hudson at its first location opening on Thursday June 5, 2025, creating approximately 100 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Bradley Spurlock to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Highland Commons.

Located at 4A Highland Commons East, the new restaurant will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests can enjoy dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, catering and Mobile Thru.

Chick-fil-A Highland Commons is one of seven new restaurants opening in Massachusetts this year, followed by five to eight more expected restaurants by the end of 2027. Together, the new restaurants will collectively create 1,600 jobs for local residents and lead to at least $300,000 in donations to fight food insecurity across the state.

“I’m thrilled and humbled to serve as the local Owner-Operator of the first Chick-fil-A in Hudson,” said Spurlock. “To me, this restaurant goes beyond serving our Guests great food. Chick-fil-A Highland Commons is a reminder that where you start in life doesn’t have to determine where you end up. I look forward to mentoring our team in the same way my Chick-fil-A mentors helped shape my future.”

  • Raised in a family that experienced addiction, Spurlock turned childhood hardship into motivation by joining his school’s Junior ROTC program. He credits the experience for changing his life, providing structure and support that fueled his passion for leadership.
  • Spurlock began his Chick-fil-A journey as a part-time Team Member in Hammond, Louisiana when he was 18 years old.
  • Motivated by the care and encouragement he received from the restaurant’s Leadership Team during his time as a Team Member, he felt compelled to grow with the company and pursue leadership opportunities.
  • He met his now-wife, Eliana, while working together at Chick-fil-A. They are excited to build a life in the Hudson community and invest in their new neighbors.

Caring for the Hudson Community: 
Spurlock is committed to giving back to the Hudson community by:

  • Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
  • Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of the Greater Boston Food Bank.
  • Recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Hudson community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
