Restaurant Brings Approximately 80 Jobs to Community, Donates $25,000 to Address Food Insecurity
VALENCIA, Calif. (May 7, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is ready to serve Valencia at its newest location opening on Thursday, May 8, 2025, creating approximately 80 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Tom Williams to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A I-5 & Magic Mountain Pkwy, marking his second restaurant in the community.
Located at 27430 The Old Road, the new restaurant will serve guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, outdoor dining and curbside service through the Chick-fil-A® App. Designed for speed and efficiency, this drive-thru-focused location offers added convenience to serve Guests through its drive-thru and a walk-up window for carry-out.
Locally Owned and Operated
“After more than 20 years of serving in the military, I was looking for an opportunity where I’d be able to mentor and develop people,” said Williams. “That's why I’m thrilled to welcome Guests to the new Chick-fil-A I-5 & Magic Mountain Pkwy, where they can see this come to life and experience some of the same friendly faces from Chick-fil-A Valencia Town Center, so that they leave with full bellies and a fulfilled heart.”
- Williams was born and raised in California. After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy, Williams and his family returned to California.
- He dedicated his time serving in several Chick-fil-A restaurants to learn the ins and outs of the business before being selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Valencia Town Center in 2014. That location is temporarily closed for renovation and expected to reopen this Fall, pending any delays.
- Now leading a team of over 200 between his two restaurants, Williams aims to make an impact on his teams by providing mentorship and leadership development programs for Team Members for every stage in their career. His leadership philosophy is “Guests first, Team Members always."
- His wife Meaghan will serve as the Business Operations Director and his two children, Chloe and Michael, will serve as Team Members in both restaurants. Together, they look forward to expanding their impact and providing Chick-fil-A’s signature hospitality to more Guests in the community.
Caring for the Valencia Community
Williams is committed to giving back to the Valencia community by:
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank.
- Recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Valencia community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
