Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Entrées for a Year

JENSEN BEACH, Fla. (Mar. 11, 2024) – A new Chick-fil-A^® restaurant began serving the Jensen Beach community on Saturday, Mar. 9, 2024. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Nathan Buchanan as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Jensen Beach.   

Located at 3745 NW Federal Highway, Chick-fil-A Jensen Beach will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. 

Chick-fil-A Jensen Beach joins more than 20 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider West Palm Beach market.  

Locally Owned and Operated  
Chick-fil-A’s franchise model is essential to how the restaurant serves others. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by a single individual, which means Chick-fil-A’s local Owner-Operators are small business owners, not passive investors, who work in their restaurants side by side with their Team Members each day.  

At Chick-fil-A Jensen Beach, Buchanan will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.   

Buchanan’s journey with Chick-fil-A began more than 20 years ago as a part-time Team Member at Chick-fil-A Citrus Park Mall in Tampa, Florida. He quickly learned the ins and outs of the business and became passionate about the commitment to care and opportunities for growth within the Company. In 2003, he was selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Treasure Coast Square in Jensen Beach. Over the next five years, he invested in the development of the restaurant, showing genuine care to Guests and growing its relationship with the community. In 2007, he was selected as the local Owner-Operator of nearby Chick-fil-A Stuart, which he will continue to operate alongside the new restaurant. Together with his wife, Dawn, and their five children, Buchanan is committed to inspiring Guests to care about each other and foster a community where his Team Members thrive.

Jensen Beach has been my home for over 30 years, so we’re honored to have this opportunity to serve more even Guests and show even more care to our community.”

The Chick-fil-A business is built to add positive impact beyond profit, including giving back to local communities. Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators are empowered to support the neighborhoods they serve with a key focus on hunger, education, and specific community needs.   

In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Treasure Coast area to aid in the fight against hunger.   

Buchanan’s restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table^® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 25 million meals have been created from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations from over 2,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada.   

In addition, Chick-fil-A Jensen Beach is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Jensen Beach area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
