Restaurant Creates Approximately 90 Jobs, Guests Invited to Dress in
Cow Print on Opening Day for One Free Entrée
LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. (July 3, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving Guests in Lake Oswego on Thursday, July 10 at 6:30 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Ben Jeffcoat to serve as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Lake Oswego.
Located at 14801 Kruse Oaks Blvd., Chick-fil-A Lake Oswego will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, carry-out, delivery and Mobile Curbside. The 8,000 square foot restaurant was intentionally designed to preserve elements of the existing building, including the original brick exterior, over 50 trees and a central skylight. It seats 160 Guests across the dining room and patio and includes a playground and unique seating area with an open-air retractable window.
To celebrate the opening, Guests are welcome to join the fun by dressing in cow print on opening day to receive a free entrée.

“Chick-fil-A has been part of my life for as long as I can remember - from spending time in restaurants during my childhood while in Georgia to becoming a Team Member in high school,” said Jeffcoat. “Now as the local Owner-Operator in Lake Oswego, I’m honored to provide a place where the community feels welcome and Team Members can grow – all while serving delicious food with genuine care.”
- Jeffcoat grew up immersed in the Chick-fil-A culture before spending nine years in finance. Driven by a passion for making meaningful impact and mentoring others, he returned to
Chick-fil-A in 2020 to participate in the Chick-fil-A® Leadership Development Program, where he learned restaurant management, honed his leadership skills and supported new restaurant openings across the country.
- He brings over a decade of Chick-fil-A experience to the Lake Oswego community and is excited to have a positive impact both inside and outside of the restaurant.
- Jeffcoat resides in West Linn with his wife, Summer, and their four children, where they enjoy spending time outdoors as a family.
Cows Eat Free to Celebrate Chick-fil-A Lake Oswego
To celebrate the restaurant moo-ving into town, Jeffcoat and his team are inviting the community to show off their cow spots on opening day for one free entrée!
- Since 1995, the Cows have been a beloved part of Chick-fil-A, encouraging humans to skip burgers and “Eat More Chikin” – and now it’s Lake Oswego’s turn to join the herd.
- Between the hours of 6:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. on opening day, Guests dressed in cow print – whether it’s a full cow costume or a simple cow-spotted accessory – can enjoy one free entrée* inside the restaurant.
Caring for the Lake Oswego Community
To show care to the Chick-fil-A Lake Oswego community, the restaurant company is participating in several initiatives, including:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger reliefs efforts in the greater Portland area.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
