Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Full-and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Meals for a Year

Vineland, N.J. (May 1, 2023) – A new Chick-fil-A^® restaurant begins serving the Vineland community on Thursday, May 4. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Phil Kelley as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Landis Avenue.  

Located at 1211 W Landis Ave. in Vineland, Chick-fil-A Landis Avenue will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Landis Avenue can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A^® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One^® tiered membership program, Chick-fil-A One members receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. The Landis Avenue restaurant joins 21 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the South Jersey area.

As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.  

In Vineland, Kelley is responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.   

Kelley is a New Jersey native, born and raised in Burlington. He got his start at Chick-fil-A in 1995 at Chick-fil-A Burlington Center where his best friend’s grandfather was an Operator and recruited him to work for his restaurant. From there, the Mercer County College graduate never looked back. He went from a dedicated Team Member to Operator of Chick-fil-A Cumberland in seven years. Now, nearly 20 years later, Kelley is proud to expand his service to new parts of Cumberland County. He has served the Vineland community for more than a decade, with the support of his wife Elizabeth and their daughter Jane.  

“We understand the economy is tough right now and how it has impacted the Vineland community,” said Kelley. “That’s why I’m so excited for Chick-fil-A Landis Avenue to expand our impact not only with the jobs the new restaurant is creating, but also the meaningful giving we will continue to do in the area.” 

In addition to Chick-fil-A Landis Avenue, Kelley will continue to operate Chick-fil-A Cumberland. 

Caring for the Vineland Community  
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Vineland area to aid in the fight against hunger.  

In addition, Chick-fil-A Landis Avenue, is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Vineland area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.  

Kelley’s restaurant plans to participate in Chick-fil-A Shared Table^®, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 18 million meals have been served nationwide from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations.
