Restaurant Celebrates with Cows Eat Free Offer on Opening Day and $25,000 Donation to Address Food Insecurity

LANGHORNE, Pa. (July 9, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A^® restaurant will begin serving the Langhorne community at its newest location on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 6:00 a.m., creating approximately 110 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected David Heffernan as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Langhorne, marking his second restaurant in the community.  

To celebrate the restaurant opening, Heffernan and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal by placing an order in person inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru. 

Located at 1440 E. Lincoln Hwy, Chick-fil-A Langhorne will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, catering, and Mobile Thru.

“After nearly 20 years of serving the Langhorne community at Chick-fil-A Oxford Valley Road, I’m excited to expand our positive impact with this new location,” said Heffernan. “We intend to live out our vision of being a place where our community gathers to connect with people who care for people.”

• No stranger to the quick-service restaurant industry, Heffernan began his career as a business teacher in the Hudson Valley region of New York before deciding to pursue business firsthand. He joined the QSR industry and developed a passion for training colleagues and connecting with customers.
• It wasn’t until he was operating several restaurant locations that a former colleague introduced Heffernan to Chick-fil-A. Heffernan immediately felt drawn to Chick-fil-A’s emphasis on service, hospitality and care.
• In 2006, Heffernan was selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Oxford Valley Road. Nearly 20 years later, he will continue leading that restaurant while opening Chick-fil-A Langhorne just over a mile away.

Caring for the Langhorne Community 
Heffernan is committed to giving back to the Langhorne community by:

• Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table^® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
• Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Philabundance, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
