LAWTON, Okla. (Nov. 13, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Lawton community at its newest location on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at 6:00 a.m., creating approximately 100 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Jonathan Pickett to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Lawton West, marking his second restaurant in the community.
Located at 1410 NW 82nd Street, Chick-fil-A Lawton West will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, Chick-fil-A delivery and catering.

“Opening Chick-fil-A Lawton West is a milestone that reflects the journey my team and I have been on since arriving in Lawton nine years ago,” said Pickett. “I chose this community because I saw incredible potential not just for business growth, but also to make a meaningful impact. Over the years, we’ve built something special at Chick-fil-A Cache Road, thanks to an extraordinary team and community. Chick-fil-A Lawton West gives us another opportunity to expand our reach and deepen our commitment to creating the most remarkable dining experience in Lawton.”
An Oklahoma native, Pickett is a proud graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, where his interest in Chick-fil-A was sparked after hearing Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy speak at his college graduation. Pickett started his journey with Chick-fil-A, in 2011 in Yukon, Oklahoma, serving in various roles before being selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Cache Road, which was the first free standing Chick-fil-A restaurant in Oklahoma. He will continue to operate it alongside this new restaurant.
Caring for the Lawton Community
Pickett is committed to giving back to the Lawton community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Lawton area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 100 jobs in the Lawton community. Between both restaurants, Pickett will have over 215 Team Members.
- Engaging with the community through family-friendly events and local outreach for moments of fun and care.
