Restaurant celebrates with Cows Eat Free offer on opening day
LUMBERTON, Texas (Oct. 30, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Lumberton community at its first location on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025 at 6:00 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Nathan Taylor to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Lumberton.
To celebrate the opening, Taylor and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 285 Country Lane Drive, Chick-fil-A Lumberton will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery and curbside. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community,
Chick-fil-A Lumberton will also feature a playground to serve Guests with children.

Prior to Chick-fil-A, Taylor worked as an engineer, where he developed operational skills that naturally translated into the restaurant business. His journey with Chick-fil-A began in Oklahoma, where he saw the impact a local Owner-Operator had on the community. Seeing how he cared for his team and built meaningful relationships inspired Taylor to pursue a career path that allowed him to do the same. In 2019, he started serving at that same Chick-fil-A in Oklahoma, and his commitment to growth and service led him to join the Chick-fil-A® Leadership Development Program before being selected as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Lumberton.
Caring for the Lumberton Community
Taylor is committed to giving back to the Lumberton community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Southeast Texas Food Bank, in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Beaumont area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 75 jobs in the Lumberton community.
