Restaurant Celebrates with Cows Eat Free Offer on Opening Day and $25,000 Donation to Address Food Insecurity
MAGNOLIA, Texas (Aug. 28, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Magnolia community at its newest location on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, at 6:00 a.m., creating approximately 120 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Matt Williams as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Magnolia at Heritage Farms.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, Williams and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 13950 FM 1488, Chick-fil-A Magnolia at Heritage Farms will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery and mobile pick-up. Chick-fil-A Magnolia at Heritage Farms will have a playground to serve Guests with children.

“Throughout my career with Chick-fil-A, I’ve had the opportunity to serve alongside some of the most inspiring Team Members, but after 13 years in Austin, I’m excited to return home to the Houston area,” said Williams. “Opening the new Chick-fil-A Magnolia at Heritage is more than a dream come true; it’s a chance to be closer to my family and friends, and to create a place where everyone feels right at home.”
A Houston native, Williams has always been passionate about serving others. He started his career in youth ministry, where he met several Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators who inspired him to pursue career opportunities at the company. What stood out to him the most was an Operator who shared that he is in business for himself, but not by himself. That propelled Williams to start his journey as a Chick-fil-A Team Member, before being selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Magnolia at Heritage Farms.
Caring for the Magnolia Community
Williams is committed to giving back to the Magnolia community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Houston Food Bank in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Houston area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
