Restaurant Brings Approximately 120 Jobs to Community, Donates $25,000 to Address Food Insecurity
MANOR, Texas (April 7, 2025) – Chick-fil-A® is ready to serve Manor at its newest location opening on Thursday, April 10, 2025, creating approximately 120 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Riley Emter to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Manor.
Located at 11900 E US 290 Hwy WB, the new restaurant will serve guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out. The restaurant will feature a playground to serve Guests with children.

“As an Operator, I have the privilege of investing in my Team Members and the community every day, inspiring lives through service,” said Emter. “It’s an honor to be part of this journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve this thriving community.”
- A Wyoming native, Emter first discovered Chick-fil-A when his now-wife Lauren, an Austin native, introduced him to an Original Sandwich—sparking his curiosity about the brand.
- After serving in the Army in Iraq, he moved to Georgia to pursue a business degree. While there, he took a part-time job at Chick-fil-A, where he quickly connected with the company’s affinity for serving communities with excellence.
- After completing his active-duty service, multiple Company Commands at Fort Riley, and another deployment to the Middle East, Emter transitioned to the Army Reserve in 2017, where he continues to be a Command General Staff College Instructor.
- Also in 2017, he became a local Owner-Operator in of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and in 2020, he moved to Texas to lead Chick-fil-A Palestine, where he served for five years.
- Now, with his new restaurant in Manor, Emter and his family are excited to serve the community great food with heartfelt hospitality.

Emter is committed to giving back to the Manor community by:
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
- In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Central Texas Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank.
- Recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Manor community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
