Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Jobs to Community, Donates $25,000 to Address Food Insecurity
MORGAN HILL, Calif. (May 23, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is ready to serve Morgan Hill at its first location opening on Thursday, May 29 creating approximately 100 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Kevin Donohue to be the local Owner-Operator of the new restaurant.
Located at 18599 Sutter Blvd., Chick-fil-A Morgan Hill will serve guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, catering and Mobile Thru.

“I am honored to open the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in the Morgan Hill community,” said Donohue. “Years ago, I watched my best friend work at our local Chick-fil-A and eventually become a local Owner-Operator himself. His encouragement and this company’s commitment to truly caring for all have changed my life. I look forward to creating a welcoming space where families can enjoy quality time and meaningful connections over delicious meals.”
- Originally from Sacramento, Donohue spent seven years in Southern California managing construction projects before deciding to change career paths. Driven by his passion for serving others, he returned to Northern California to join Chick-fil-A as a Team Member in the Bay Area six years ago. Since then, he has steadily grown within the organization, motivated by a deep commitment to hospitality and community.

- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, a Feeding America partner food bank.
