Restaurant celebrates with Cows Eat Free offer on opening day
MUNFORD, Tenn. (Oct. 30, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Munford community at its newest location on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at 6 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Alphonso Ruffin, Jr. to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Munford, marking his second restaurant in the community.
To celebrate the opening, Ruffin and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 11103 U.S. Hwy 51 S., Chick-fil-A Munford will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery and Mobile Thru.

“What I’m most proud of as a local Owner-Operator is the opportunity my wife, Kenya, and I have to influence and inspire others to pursue their goals and dreams,” said Ruffin. “Opening a second restaurant allows us to expand our impact into new communities, and we’re deeply grateful for the chance to do so. Our hope is that this restaurant feels like the family kitchen table — a place where everyone can gather for food and fellowship.”
Ruffin was born in Germany and raised in Georgia, where he grew up surrounded by Chick-fil-A restaurants. In 2008, he was drawn to the brand for its alignment with his personal mission: providing hope to others by meeting them where they are and helping them reach their fullest potential. Ruffin began his Chick-fil-A career as a Team Member in 2009, steadily growing through the business before being selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Millington in 2021. Now, with the opening of his second restaurant, Ruffin and his wife Kenya look forward to strengthening relationships in the community, creating opportunities for his team and continuing to serve with purpose.
Caring for the Munford Community
Ruffin is committed to giving back to the Munford community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Mid-South Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant. Mid-South Food Bank helps to reduce food insecurity across the west Tennessee region.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date. The new restaurant will create approximately 120 jobs in the Munford community.
