Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Jobs to Community, Donates $25,000 to Address Food Insecurity
AUSTIN, Texas (April 14, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is ready to serve Austin at its newest location opening on Thursday, April 17, 2025, creating approximately 100 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Jamie Page to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Parmer & Dessau.
Located at 1805 E Parmer Lane, the new restaurant will serve guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering drive-thru, carry-out and Mobile Thru. To learn about Mobile Thru, click here. Designed for speed and efficiency, this drive-thru-focused location offers added convenience to serve Guests through its drive-thru and a walk-up window for carry-out. While this location will not offer dine-in services, the restaurant features a patio with seating for Guests.
“The design and prime location of this restaurant create the perfect space for Austin residents and visitors alike to experience Chick-fil-A's signature hospitality on the go,” said Page. “Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in to enjoy your meal on our patio, we’re here to serve you with efficiency and care.”
Locally Owned and Operated
- Growing up in Georgia, Page was always surrounded by Chick-fil-A, but his journey with the brand didn’t begin until 2021.
- A friendship with a local Owner-Operator led to meaningful conversations about life and business, inspiring Page to pursue Chick-fil-A ownership.
- In 2022, Page, his wife Holly and their two children took a leap of faith, moving from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to Austin to work with Cliff Green, the local Owner-Operator at Chick-fil-A Martin Luther King.
- Now as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Parmer & Dessau, Page is excited to make a lasting impact—serving Guests, investing in his Team and building a legacy in Austin.
“The journey to becoming a Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operator has been incredibly humbling and rewarding,” said Page. “This community has welcomed me with open arms and I’m so grateful to be joining such a tight-knit group of Operators to continue serving the community delicious food with a smile.”

- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Central Texas Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank.
- Recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Austin community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
