Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Jobs to Community, Donates $25,000 to Address Food Insecurity
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (May 22, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is ready to serve North Las Vegas at its newest location opening on Thursday, May 29, 2025, creating approximately 100 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Jason Asay to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Rome & 5th.
Located at 6585 N 5th St., the new restaurant will serve guests Monday through Saturday, offering dine-in, carry-out and catering from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., as well third-party delivery, drive-thru and Mobile Thru from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

“Growing up, some of my favorite memories included school shopping trips, because it meant enjoying a meal at Chick-fil-A, which quickly became our tradition,” Asay said. “I fell in love with the brand’s signature hospitality, paired with its delicious food. That’s why I’m thrilled to be back in North Las Vegas to open a restaurant where Guests can create their own traditions and feel welcome from the moment they enter our doors.”
- Asay spent most of his early childhood years moving across the country, but it wasn’t until his family settled outside of Las Vegas that he truly felt at home.
- Before joining Chick-fil-A, Asay built a successful career in finance, accounting and corporate development, working in roles that helped shape his leadership and business management skills.
- His son Nate’s experience as a Chick-fil-A Team Member in high school led Asay to reimagine what his next career opportunity would be, which started his Chick-fil-A journey. Asay served in various restaurants to learn more about the restaurant business prior to his selection as a local Owner-Operator.
- With the opening of Chick-fil-A Rome & 5th, Asay looks forward to mentoring Team Members and serving the North Las Vegas community alongside his wife, Janet.

Asay is committed to giving back to the North Las Vegas community by:
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Three Square Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank.
- Recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the North Las Vegas community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
