Restaurant celebrates with Cows Eat Free offer on opening day
ST. LOUIS (Oct. 27, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the St. Louis community at its newest location on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at 6:30 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Eric Benting to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Tesson Ferry, marking his second restaurant in the community.
To celebrate the opening, Benting and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 12701 Old Tesson Rd., Chick-fil-A Tesson Ferry will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pick-up and Mobile Thru.

Benting has served as a local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Sunset Hills since 2013, where he has spent more than a decade growing his team and leading with care. With Chick-fil-A Tesson Ferry, he looks forward to expanding those efforts, creating more opportunities for growth for his Team Members while continuing to serve the community with the same warmth and dedication that his team has led with from the start.
Caring for the St. Louis Community
Benting is committed to giving back to the St. Louis community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of St. Louis Area Foodbank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant. Creating approximately 100 jobs in the St. Louis community, in addition to those already provided by his other restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
