Restaurant Celebrates with Cows Eat Free Offer on Opening Day and $25,000 Donation to Address Food Insecurity
UNION, Ky. (Sept. 18, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Union community at its first location on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025 at 6 a.m., creating approximately 110 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Dustin DiChiara as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Union Promenade, marking his second restaurant in the greater Northern Kentucky area.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, DiChiara and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 9172 US-42, Chick-fil-A Union Promenade will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, catering and Mobile Thru. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community, Chick-fil-A Union Promenade will also feature a playground to serve Guests with children.

“Chick-fil-A has been a part of my life for nearly 30 years, but what makes this journey most meaningful is sharing it with my family and the community,” said DiChiara. “Opening a second restaurant is an incredible opportunity to keep growing those connections, invest in the next generation of leaders and continue giving back to a community that means so much to us.”
DiChiara, along with his wife Amy, father Jerry, his son Levi and his daughters Evelyn, Vivian and Giavanna, has proudly called Northern Kentucky home since opening his first restaurant in the greater Cincinnati area in 2005. Over the years, he and his team have built strong local ties through programs like Stuff the Bus, which has provided thousands of students across four school districts with school supplies, and Chick-fil-A Leader Academy™, which helps middle school and high school students build leadership skills through service projects. As he opens his second restaurant, DiChiara looks forward to continuing these efforts and finding new ways to give back to the community.

DiChiara is committed to giving back to the Union community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Freestore Foodbank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
