Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Jobs to Community, Donates $25,000 to Address Food Insecurity
TYLER, Texas (April 28, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is ready to serve Tyler at its newest location opening on Thursday, May 1, 2025 creating approximately 100 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected T.J. St. Romain to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A West Tyler.
Located at 1873 South SW Loop 323, the new restaurant will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the drive-thru remaining open until 10:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy dine-in, carry-out, mobile dine-in, mobile carry-out, and drive-thru services.

“I’m deeply honored to be opening a new Chick-fil-A restaurant in East Texas, a place my wife and I have always considered home,” said St. Romain.
- A proud Texan, St. Romain was raised surrounded by the warmth and service Chick-fil-A is known for. After graduating college, he felt a strong calling to bring that same spirit of encouragement and care to others through restaurant ownership.
- In 2002, he was selected to become the local Owner-Operator of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- St. Romain and his wife both grew up near Tyler, and they’re excited to be back in East Texas—close to family and roots—where they’ll keep investing in a community that has always felt like home.
- A proud father to three sons, St. Romain shares his love of Chick-fil-A with his eldest son who has special needs and has long been a valued Team Member in St. Romain’s other restaurants.

- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts in the greater Tyler-Longview area.
- Recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Tyler community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
