Chick-fil-A Announces New Fredericksburg Restaurant to Open on Dec. 9

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (Dec. 6, 2021) – A new Chick-fil-A^® restaurant is slated to open for business in Fredericksburg on Thursday, Dec. 9. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Paul Jany as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Lee's Hill. Jany will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A Lee’s Hill is located at 5322 Jefferson Davis Hwy., at the intersection of Market Street and Route 1, and will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A Lee’s Hill will open for drive-thru, mobile ordering, dine-in and carry-out service, with third-party delivery available shortly after the opening. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100^® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Lee’s Hill will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Fredericksburg with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Fredericksburg area to aid in the fight against hunger.



Locally Owned and Operated

Chick-fil-A Lee’s Hill is locally owned and operated by Paul Jany. Chick-fil-A has been influential in Jany’s life since he first sampled the chicken in his hometown shopping mall in Pennsylvania. After graduating college and marrying his wife, Judi, a former Chick-fil-A Team Member, Jany was captivated by an article about Truett Cathy’s heart for orphans, ultimately inspiring Jany’s pursuit to become an Operator and adopt three children.

In 2005, Jany and his family moved to Fredericksburg for him to become the Operator of Chick-fil-A Southpoint, where two of his children work and which he will continue to operate in addition to Chick-fil-A Lee’s Hill.

“I’ve been honored to serve the Fredericksburg community for more than 15 years as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Southpoint,” said Jany. “With the opening of this new restaurant, I look forward to empowering my team by teaching them about leadership and teamwork, while serving new and returning guests great-tasting food with genuine hospitality.”
