Cow Cupcakes

Chocolate cupcake with chocolate chip frosting and a cookie on a marble slab.
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F, line 12-muffin or 24-muffin tin with cupcake liners
  2. Prepare chocolate cake mix according to package instructions, swapping out the water for equal parts of the melted Cookies & Cream Milkshake.
  3. Pour batter into cupcake liners, bake according to package instructions. If needed, repeat with remaining batter. Allow cupcakes to cool completely.
  4. In a stand mixer or large bowl with hand mixer, cream together butter and cream cheese until fully combined and smooth. Slowly add in powdered sugar, beat until just combined. Add in vanilla and chocolate sandwich cookies, beat until combined. If frosting is too thick, add a splash of milk at a time until desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Transfer frosting into a piping bag or gallon baggie, snip the end off. Decorate cupcakes with frosting. Top with additional chocolate sandwich cookies, whole or crushed, if desired. Serve!
    Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.Step
