Our Purpose
From the beginning, Truett based his business on Biblical principles that he believed were also good business principles, and since 1982, our Corporate Purpose has guided all that we do. We keep our Purpose front and center because it helps us to steward our business and our work to positively influence everyone we meet. “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.” To live out our Purpose and honor Truett’s legacy, we are focused on creating a culture of care, both at the Support Center and in our restaurants.
Our culture of care
We believe that a strong and caring culture is essential to our success and to offering fulfilling careers for our staff. The notion of care applies not only to our local Owner-Operators and their Team Members and Guests in our restaurants, but also to how we treat each other at the Support Center.
Chick-fil-A is committed to a workplace culture where everyone is treated with honor, dignity and respect. And, our policies, practices and benefits support this goal.
At our restaurants, we’re known for being closed on Sunday, to allow Operators and their team members to enjoy a day of rest, be with their families and loved ones, and worship if they choose.

Our values
Our core values reflect our Purpose, our culture, and shape the staff and work experience of Chick-fil-A teams wherever they are.

Life at Chick-fil-A
At Chick-fil-A, we want our staff members to have “work full of life.” Our corporate offices, known as the Support Center, are set on 73 wooded acres, and our open office concept provides spaces – inside and outside – for every style and preference.
In a typical week, you may experience:
- Regular team and project meetings that support our highly collaborative culture.
- A brainstorm session at Hatch, our Innovation Center, or a Lunch and Learn sponsored by one of our teams.
- A walk on the trails, a workout in the wellness center or a volunteer activity on or off campus. (You can even shoot hoops or play a game of pickleball).
- Access to subsidized childcare services for your convenience (based on availability).

Connect and grow
Our staff connect with each other through one-on-one and department meetings, balancing in person and virtual connection. Additionally, there are several opportunities to connect with fellow staff and owner-Operators, referred to as ‘cultural cornerstones’ within our community.
Staff stay connected with the business through opportunities to work and serve at Chick-fil-A restaurants, which is offered to help foster connections between owner-Operators and Staff, and help Staff gain a deeper understanding of the Restaurant, gain acumen, and personally experience Restaurant realities.
Chick-fil-A, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion. We make employment decisions on the basis of qualifications, merit and business need.
