Since 2015, the Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards® have carried on Chick-fil-A Founder S. Truett Cathy’s legacy of generosity and community service by providing grants to nonprofit organizations working to strengthen our communities. This year, Chick-fil-A awarded over $6 million to 56 organizations that are making an impact in the areas of Caring for People, Caring for others through Food, Caring for Communities or Caring for our Planet. In 2024, Chick-fil-A added a Global Recipients category and in 2025, a Subsidiary Recipients category was added, honoring five organizations making a difference in cities where Chick-fil-A Supply® and Bay Center Foods facilities are located.
How can I apply?
In Spring 2026, eligible nonprofit organizations can apply for a 2027 True Inspiration Awards grant by filling out the application form available online at chick-fil-a.com/true-inspiration-awards.

What is the deadline for submitting an application?
Eligible nonprofit organizations can apply for a 2027 True Inspiration Awards grant by filling out an application form online. Applications close on May 3. Organizations may also be nominated by local Chick-fil-A Owner-Operators or Chick-fil-A Supply General Managers.
What are the eligibility requirements?
- Organizations must be a (i) a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. or Puerto Rico or (ii) a Canadian, Singapore or U.K. charitable organization that can provide an opinion of counsel that confirms it is the equivalent of a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity in its home jurisdiction.
- Organizations must be based in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, Singapore or the U.K. to be eligible.
- Organizations who received a True Inspiration Awards grant in 2025 or 2026 will not be eligible to apply.
- Organizations must also have needs that align with our Global Impact priorities: Caring for People, Caring for Others through Food, Caring for our Communities and Caring for our Planet.
