Restaurant Brings Over 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Entrées for a Year

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (Sept. 6, 2023) – A new Chick-fil-A^® restaurant will begin serving the Scottsboro community on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Beth Monroe as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Scottsboro.  

Located at 368 Micah Way, Chick-fil-A Scottsboro will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Scottsboro can place an order for pickup, dine-in on the Chick-fil-A^® App or online. Additionally, one of Chick-fil-A Scottsboro’s drive-thru lanes will offer Mobile Thru, which enables guests to pick-up their order in a separate lane after placing their order through the App. When joining the Chick-fil-A One^® tiered membership program, Chick-fil-A One members receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards.  

The Scottsboro restaurant joins more than 17 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Huntsville market.  

Locally Owned and Operated  
As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.  

At Chick-fil-A Scottsboro, Monroe will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing over 100 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.  

Hailing from Huntsville, Monroe joined Chick-fil-A in 2019 after spending 15 years in the media and entertainment industry. Under the direction and guidance of several Operators across the northern Alabama market, she learned the ins and outs of the business prior to being selected as an Operator at Chick-fil-A Parkway Place in Huntsville, Alabama. Showing care for her Team Members and the community is something Monroe has been passionate about from the start of her time at Chick-fil-A. Now, she and her family are looking forward to bringing that same culture of care to Scottsboro and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Caring for the Scottsboro Community  
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Food Bank of North Alabama, a certified member of Feeding America, in honor of the new restaurant. 

In addition, Chick-fil-A Scottsboro is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the local area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.  

Monroe’s restaurant will plan to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table^® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 20 million meals have been served nationwide from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations.
