Donation will help two local nonprofits address food insecurity
Brooklyn, N.Y. (Aug. 20, 2026) – Chick-fil-A® is continuing its commitment to care for the communities it serves with the opening of a new restaurant in Brooklyn on August 27, 2026. To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. is donating $25,000 to Feeding America® to support local hunger relief, benefitting partners in New York City, including the Food Bank for NYC. In addition, the restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program to redirect surplus food to feed neighbors in need.
Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Brooklyn native Natalie Finkelstein to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Brooklyn Junction In-Line. Located at 1569 Flatbush Ave, the new restaurant will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 A.M to 10 P.M., offering dine-in, carry-out and delivery.
The Restaurant will offer extended hours for delivery services until 11 P.M.
To celebrate the opening, Finkelstein and team invite the community to show off their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant.
Locally Owned and Operated
“As someone who was born in Brooklyn, it has always been my dream to return to my roots and open a restaurant that serves great food while bringing together the incredible diversity that makes this community so special,” said Finkelstein. “Brooklyn has always represented a melting pot of cultures, backgrounds, and stories, and I hope this restaurant becomes a place where everyone feels welcome. By supporting our Feeding America and Shared Table partners, my mission is to help increase access to meals and support those experiencing food insecurity in the area.”
In addition to serving her community through these local partnerships, Finkelstein is passionate about creating a welcoming space where Guests can connect over a meal while also providing meaningful career opportunities. Before becoming the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Brooklyn Junction In-Line, she owned and operated The House of Poké, where she developed a passion for hospitality, leadership development, and restaurant operations. Prior to pursuing restaurant ownership, she worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist after earning her master’s degree in Speech and Language Sciences from Mercy University.
The new restaurant is expected to create approximately 80-90 jobs, helping to invest in the future of the Brooklyn community.
