Restaurant adds 85 jobs to local economy
PLEASANT VIEW, Utah (Nov. 6, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Pleasant View community at its newest location on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., creating approximately 85 full- and part-time jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Bart Norman to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A 2700 & Rulon White Blvd, marking his second restaurant in the community.
Located at 1496 W 2700, Chick-fil-A 2700 N & Rulon White Blvd will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, catering and Mobile Thru.
Investing in the Pleasant View Community
Norman is committed to caring for the Pleasant View community by:
- Creating approximately 85 full- and part-time jobs. Chick-fil-A local Owners-Operators hire and grow top talent through hands-on training and mentoring, competitive pay and benefits, the chance to apply for scholarships to support continued education, and the flexibility to thrive in and outside of work – all within a purpose-driven, flexible environment.
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts in the greater Salt Lake City area.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 42 million meals to date with over 2,500 restaurants participating.
- Offering a tuition reimbursement program for Team Members, in addition to the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures™ Scholarship. To date, Norman has provided Team Members with over $40,000 in supplemental funding to support their academic endeavors.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A’s franchise model drives meaningful economic growth at the local level. Each restaurant is owned and operated by a single individual — a small business owner who lives in the community, creates jobs, mentors talent and reinvests directly into the local economy. Norman will work in his restaurant side by side with Team Members each day.
“Ogden has been my home for more than a decade, and it’s been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this community not just through food, but through investing in our schools, supporting local organizations and helping young people pursue their dreams,” said Norman. “Opening a second restaurant is about deepening our roots, creating new opportunities and continuing to pour into a community that has given so much to me and my family.”
Norman began his Chick-fil-A career in 1997 as a Team Member in Georgia and has dedicated his entire career to the company. As a Team Member, Norman received a scholarship from
Chick-fil-A, which fueled his pursuit of a degree in business management, equipping him with the knowledge and skills to effectively lead a business. He grew as a leader through various roles before being selected to serve as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Ogden in 2015, which he will continue to operate alongside this new restaurant.
Inspired by Chick-fil-A’s culture of servant leadership and entrepreneurial opportunity, Norman strives to create the same supportive environment for his team that he has experienced throughout his career. He is committed to making a lasting impact in the community by partnering with local organizations that empower young people and families, ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive.
