Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
RIVERVIEW, Fla. (Aug. 13, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Riverview community at its newest location on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, at 6 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Lorena Kurtjian Hernandez as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Balm Road.
To celebrate, Kurtjian Hernandez and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 14310 S US Hwy 301, Chick-fil-A Balm Road will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery
and Mobile Thru.

Born in Argentina, Kurtjian Hernandez moved to the United States with her family at the age of 10, an experience that shaped her appreciation for opportunity and community. Years later, she was introduced to Chick-fil-A and inspired by the brand’s unwavering commitment to hospitality and caring for others. Drawn to Chick-fil-A‘s mission to serve people first, Kurtjian Hernandez knew she wanted to be part of an organization that invests in its Guests, Team Members and local communities. Today, as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Balm Road, she is fulfilling her dream of owning a business by creating a restaurant where people feel valued, Team Members are empowered to grow and every Guest experiences genuine hospitality.

Lorena is committed to giving back to the Riverview community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Feeding Tampa Bay, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 120 jobs.
